"Only those who care not for their destiny, can be careless as to their
origin. He that forgets his ancestors is either stupid or wicked, or both."
From: Annals of Harbaugh Family in America 1736-1856 by Rev. Henry Harbaugh, 1856.

THE STORYTELLER OF THE TRIBE

In each family there is one who seems called to find the ancestors.
To make them live again and to tell the family story.

It has to do with pride in what our ancestors were able to accomplish and how
they contributed to what we are today. It has to do with respecting their
hardships and losses, and never giving in or giving up. It has to do with
their resoluteness to go on and build a life for their family. It has to do
with the pride they fought with to make and keep us a Nation.

I tell the story of my family. It is up to that one called in the next generation
to answer the call and take their place in the long line of family storytellers.
We are the storytellers of the tribe. All tribes have one.
We have been called by our genes.
