I have many branches on my family tree. Most of my ancestors were farmers, laborers, craftsmen, preachers, and schoolteachers. Most were of English, Scots, Irish, German and French origin. They came to this country by water at various times and on various vessels for various reasons. I belong to several lineage societies. That means my research has been verified and accepted by the professional genealogists and historians of those societies. I will continue to participate in them in order to support their research in and of the family lines. Through most societies, you can obtain other lineage papers, link with other cousins and enrich your own research.
